The design for this cabinet came about while sitting outside, looking to the trees for inspiration and idly sketching furniture ideas. The result was this cabinet featuring shelves shaped like the layers of a tree canopy. Just like a tree, this cabinet's design is a symphony of edges and shadows to discover over time.

As with most of our work, traditional joinery in the form of dovetails, bridle joints and half laps underpin the casework. The dovetails are left ever so proud of the case sides to catch the light. Sliding doors with hand carved pulls move easily with a single finger.
