Kids deserve a nice place to sit (or climb!) too

We built these benches for our good friends at the Little Friends Learning Loft Montessori program in Newburgh, NY. The strong central stretcher is captured by the profiled and tapered "legs", which are in turn mortised into the seat tops. It's all basic, strong construction for kids that are most likely going to do more climbing than sitting on these pieces.
