The Watervliet Perch is the second piece in the Watervliet collection. It's a side table, a nightstand or something a guest could pull up for some ad hoc seating. The Perch is a sort of grown up version of the step stool, with the lower stretcher replaced by a shelf that can hold books or your morning coffee and croissant.

Both the top and the shelf feature the thin, almost knife edge, profiles that are a key part of the Watervliet collection. The inside edges of the "legs" gradually transition from quarter rounds at the feet to square shoulders where they meet the top. Dovetail and mortise and tenon joinery throughout lend strength and beauty.
